Description:
Country: Djibouti in the context of its commitments in energy transition and adaptation to climate change, the Djibouti government, with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), wishes to develop a pilot of the infant energy. This project aims to exploit the energy potential of the tides along the Djiboutian coast in order to diversify the energy mix, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, strengthen the resilience of the coastal communities and contribute to the national objectives defined in the contributions determined at the national level (CDN). To ensure preparation for international standards and maximize the chances of financing, a complete conceptual note and compliant in the format of the Green Climate Fund (FVC), the UNDP Djibouti is recruiting an international consultant to support the formulation of the conceptual note.
