• Description:
• As part of the implementation of the National Adaptation Plan (PNA) in the Republic of Djibouti, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MEDD), is recruiting a international firm to carry out a Climate Change Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (CRVA). The mission aims to produce a comprehensive, participatory and multi-sectoral scientific analysis of current and future climate risks. affecting the country, to inform national adaptation planning and support the integration of climate change adaptation into planning and budgeting processes. More specifically, the firm must analyze the climate hazards, the exposure of populations and infrastructure, as well as the vulnerability of socio-economic and environmental systems, based on climate projections and advanced spatial analyses. This assessment will allow to identify and prioritize climate risks by 2030, 2050 and 2100, and to provide solid factual bases for the formulation of public policies and resilient investments.
