Description:
Quotation are invited for Utility Building Flood Protection Contract. SCOPE OF WORK: 4.1. Raise all doors of the Switchgear room and two Generator rooms by 12 inches from existing FFL: 4.1.1. There are three double opening doors the necessitate raising. 4.1.2. Dismantle carefully existing doors and door frames for reuse. 4.1.3. Cut the top door header concrete to compensate the height raise from the bottom 4.1.4. Raise by 12-incles from existing finished floor level and reinstall the door and door frames. 4.1.5. The entire door assembly shall not be cut, modified or retrofit on this installation. It is only relocation the position. 4.1.6. Doors and door frames shall be installed with proper weatherproof and install required seal that guards against air and moisture infiltration. 4.1.7. Doors and door frames installation shall be impermeable. 4.1.8. Properly mixed and applied mortar is necessary for good workmanship and good masonry service because it must bond the masonry units into a strong, well-knit structure to existing. 4.1.9. Construct interior and exterior beveled concrete ramp from the 12-inch elevated door sill. The ramps shall have a maximum slope of 1:12. 4.1.10. The concrete ramp shall be for the entire width of the door opening and extended further on each side of the wall. The concrete ramp shall be well-knit to existing structure and watertight integrated to existing. 4.1.11. The contractor shall paint the walls affected by the construction to match the existing.
